Simulate payments in sandbox mode

Neon allows you to simulate payments in different countries using sandbox mode.

Credit Cards

For all credit cards you can enter any expiration date in the future and a random CVC. The card numbers are specific to each country.

  • United States: 4242 4242 4242 4242
  • Finland: 4000 0024 6000 0001
  • Germany: 4000 0027 6000 0016
  • Spain: 4000 0072 4000 0007
  • France: 4000 0025 0000 0003
  • Japan: 4000 0039 2000 0003
  • Philippines: 4242 4242 4242 4242

If you'd like to test any other countries please reach out to us for card numbers.

Apple Pay and Google Pay

The test card information can not be saved to your Apple Pay or Google Pay wallets. Instead, add a valid payment method to your Apple Pay or Google Pay wallets. We recognize when you're making a payment in sandbox mode and do not actually charge the card.

PayPal

To test a payment using PayPal you can create a PayPal developer account and use a sandbox PayPal user account that PayPal provides.

  1. Log in or create a PayPal account on the Developer website at developer.paypal.com. If you already have a PayPal account you can use your existing credentials or you can create a new account.
  2. Create a set of virtual sandbox accounts. When you do this you'll be provided with PayPal sandbox account credentials like [email protected] and. random password.
  3. Enter those sandbox account credentials during your Neon checkout after selecting PayPal as the payment method.

🚧

Make sure you use a sandbox PayPal account that matches the country that you're using for your checkout. You can see the country for each sandbox account in the PayPal dashboard and you can see the country that you're using for your checkout in the footer of your webhsop page.

See more details in the PayPal sandbox testing guide and the sandbox accounts guide.
