Before choosing Serverless Checkout, keep the following considerations in mind

Not recommended for multiplayer or server-authoritative games. Since purchase claiming and validation are performed by the client, Serverless Checkout should only be used if your game does not have backend infrastructure capable of securely granting items, especially if your game has an online economy.

Requires an additional API call during application startup. Your application needs to retrieve the public signing key from Neon on launch so it can validate signed purchase responses locally. This adds a small initialization step before purchases can be securely processed.
