About Hosted Checkout

Hosted Checkout is an integration type designed for web store owners who want to use the Neon Checkout API to securely process payments.

With this integration flow, the player selects an item for purchase on your website, after which your backend creates a Checkout session through the Neon API. Neon then generates a secure, hosted checkout page, and the user is redirected there to complete the payment.

Once the payment flow is completed, the player is redirected back to your website. Your backend can then receive purchase confirmation through Neon webhooks and assign the purchased items or entitlements to the user.

This integration allows you to keep your existing storefront experience while using Neon’s payment infrastructure, checkout flow, and merchant-of-record capabilities.
